So i'm about maybe 2/15th of the way assembling my army. And i'm feeling itchy to start playing with my new army. I'm torn between making a mech list or a jumper list at this low of a point value. I think if i went with a jump pack army i'd have a hard time dealing with vehicles.

Well this board is about posting a list. not asking for one :3. do you have any idea what units you're thinking of taking? i'm not amazingly good with WH but blood angels do have lots of nifty abilities for jump infantry if you glance through the codex.

BA army

750pts is a little low,
But if you insist...

Jump Infantry:
Can suck against armor but Sanguinary Guard with Angelus Melta Guns are a help.
Melta Gun on one Assault Marine/Melta bombs on all your Assault squads.
Add a Devastator squad to give that anti-armor punch you need; not 'Jump' i know but their range will make up for it; I.E. I have one with 2 Lascannons and 2 Missile Launchers
Or Termies (ThunderHammer/StormShield)... but again their not 'Jump'

Armor:
Hard Pressed to get an effective army with this option for the points your wanting.
2 Predator Annihilators, and a Vindicator is a base to start on but thats more than half your total points.... Add a couple of Tac Squads and a HQ and your pretty much there

Like i've said, the points limit is the killer here; your attampting too much specialisation here. Best sticking with troops and dreads for that point limit, effective and can take on all types of enemy.

Thats about the best that can be done methinks.

For 750?

Reclusarch

5 man assault squad - fist

5 man assault squad

10 man Tac squad - Laz and flamer - dedicated Rhino

and then finish with..

Furioso Dread - drop pod

OR some kind of pred combination

Yeah i realize that... this is about posting lists, but asking for advice on one wouldn't be out of the norm. I have about 5k in point values to chose from, but again i gotta put them all together first.

How about this:

1 Librarian (100)
2 5 man Assault Squads w/1 melta/powerfirst. (135)
w/Razorbacks w/Las cannon/plasma +ea (140)
1 Baal predator w/auto-cannon + heavy bolters + ea (160)
1 Devastator squad (w/plasmax2 HBx2 ) w/Rhino + ea (205)

Librarian + dev squad in Razorback 1,
Assault squad 1 + razorback 2
Assault squad 2 + razorback 2
Baal pred scouts up front.

Baal Preds can't take Auto-Cannons. So i assume thats a normal Pred.
Try upping that to a TL-Las. Lose the Extra Armor too
I assume that you know that Assault squads in DT's cant have their JP's.
Always wondered why people do that as it seems to be contrary to the term
'Jump Infantry'... Ah well.

Predator (TwinLinked-Lascannon/HeavyBolter)
Tactical Squad with MissileLauncher and Flamer in Rhino.
Devastator Squad (PlasmaCannon/LasCannon/MissileLauncherx2)+Librarian in RazorBack(TwinLinked-HeavyBolter).

I meant assault cannons, it is indeed a baal pred on my list.

I thought the 35 point deduction would allow me to squeeze a bit more firepower into the limited point value of 750 points. I went with the Rhino so i could use the fire points to lay down plasma cannon fire and protect the devastators while they advance up the table and allow the libby to use his powers when needed.

Ah... :headdesk: Well, not to worry, the list still works with that instead:

Baal Predator (TwinLinked-AssaultCannon/HeavyBolter)
Tactical Squad with MissileLauncher and Flamer in Rhino.
Devastator Squad (PlasmaCannon/LasCannon/MissileLauncherx2)+Librarian in RazorBack(TwinLinked-HeavyBolter).
5 man Assault Squad (MeltaGun/PowerSword/MeltaBombs)
5 man Assault Squad (MeltaGun/PowerSword/MeltaBombs)

The RazoBack should be able to protect them and the Tactical Squad in the Rhino can too. Devastators have a long range so you dont need to advance them all that much.
The Baal should draw alot of fire so move the Assault Squads up with it

In all, it will come down to who your facing. But i'd say that its a list that will do some damage given the points limit. And the eponomous SM stats will help the survivablity too, buffered by the DT's (DedicatedTransport's).

I'd say its complete, but thats up to you. Let me know.
