Unfortunately for anyone shooting at the monolith, Weapon Destroyed results only ever apply a -1 modifier to the number of shots that a Flux Arc can fire. The Power Matrix is not a weapon and, therefore, can't be destroyed. Monoliths can't be destroyed by non-AP1 glancing hits for this reason.

Alas no. as stated by "darklove" a weapon destoryed gives you a -1 to the max number to shots that can be fired with the Flux arc. For this reason non-Ap1 Glancing hit's cna never wreak/destory and Monalith.
However the best way of deallign with a Monalith is ignor it and goe after the necrons cna ge them to Phase out.

It can be destroyed by glancing hits as the power matrix dont count as a weapon so it doesnt count towards the weapon destroyed results. so weapon destroy a monolith 6 times and immobilise it, then one more immobilise or weapon destroyed result will wreak it.

I'm with honourthymaster... after 8 immob / weap destroyed... then finally it would be destroyed.
Sorry, but it does not work like that. There is no upper limit on the number of negative modifiers that can be applied to the Monolith's shooting. D6-1 or D6-12 still don't count as a single weapon having been destroyed, they are just modifiers. That's just the way it is. Codex trumps BRB.

A lot of people find it offensive and broken, but that does not change reality.

Don't argue about it further here because it is pointless and has already been done in several other threads. Accept it, and move on.
