Hello everyone...

This post is a bit buried under another thread so I thought I would start a new thread and get it a little more visibility. I'm trying to get at least 100 signatures.

A couple of us recently posted a Necron survey and got an overwhelming response. We decided to share this data with Games Workshop in the form of a letter and I'm looking to get some signatures on that letter to show how many of us agree.

By GW or the forums? I'm not sure about the latter, but thought it pretty harmless.

I read through pages of GW terms of use and legal docs and saw nothing precluding the execution of a fan survey. Also writing a petition letter is legal.

Sorry to say but its a waste of 10 sheets of paper, its far too long winded and will be ignored, GW will work on the models and codex's as they see fit, no amount of fan forum survey nonsense will make them change there business model, if it did we would have had the new dark eldar models 5 years ago.
But that apart its a very nice and impressive looking document, hats off for collating the data, but its a shame GW will bin it after sending you some form of generic letter.

Realistically, I doubt this will persuade GW to do their business any differently.

However, I did sign it just because I have a friend who's dying for a new Necron codex, however there are a lot of things in the letter that you guys are requesting that I find rather broken and out of character for the necrons.

Hope you guys get a positive response, and as much as it kills me, I hope you guys get a lot of what you've asked for.

I commend you on the work but this is nothing more than a waist of resources, it would seem that GW pays little to no attention to the requests of it's fans. Sad really.

Nice idea, but what you need to do is boost the numbers of Necron players. Then you might get a new codex.

You have done a damn good job with that letter, and one thing is for sure, if even some of those things would be added to a new Codex, I would start collecting Necrons, thats one for sure!

Im not sure that Necrons will be coming out the beggining of the year. Rumour mills are going overtime that the next 2 codexes will be DE and some form of WH/GK, which would fit the current cycle of imprial/xenos. Necrons could be next but I suspect that will be next summer.

I'd love to believe that rumor that they will be coming so soon as my crons are pretty much shelved until something is done about phase out but I agree with ahab here. The "friend of a friend" thing just does not cut it for me.

Necrons are being redone...but it will be after dark eldar....Akaon't Hold your breath.

Also these "petitions" are a waste of time gw really doesn't care what people think (or the chaos codex would of been the first redone)
