This table rests in my garage permantly set up. It took me from the middle of June to the end of September to finish.

It's 8 X 4. Yeah, it would make a good Necromunda table. Never thought about that.

lol, hermagaunts...

I love the table. 8'x4'? Man, you could play 2 games on it!

This is really aspiring. I might have to make my own table

I love having my own table set up permanently (6'x4') but yours has a WEE bit more work done to it that mine. It's very nice.

Looks like you put some real thought into designing it to play many good and varied games which is easily just as important as how a board looks aesthetically. It's also very war torn which you get a big thumbs up for.

Those craters you have are excellent, notably the size of them. Reminds me very much of DoW, was there any inspiration from it?

I have 2 jungle craters and each is designed to take a dreadnought-sized base, but if I ever make a city fight board which is very likely then those 2 craters may inspire me to make much bigger ones than before.

So being that this is in your garage does it get cold?

And are you desiring to start another board from scratch. A snowscape/desert/jungle/demon world etc?

Oh and the pieces on this board. I take it it's all movable? Do you ever move things or plan to change anything in the future?

Nice stuff. Any chance of a wide shot of the entire table?

No DOW inspiration. Though I was going to put down street markings from DOW.

It gets cold. I need moer space heaters.

Craters are big enough for 1 1/2 - 2 dreadnoughts.

It took me from mid June - end of September.

Table set-up/layout is not very changeable. Buildings are removeable to replace with rubble when they get "destroyed".

I have an 8X4 jungle table too, it's in a container beneath this table.

Camera does not get wideenough for a wide shot of the table. Hence the first 4 pics. I need to get a better camera.

Awesome table!

A couple questions -- what are the streets made of and how did you make the flame? Is that orange felt?

Also -- nice use of the electrical switch box! Those do make great buildings, don't they?

Cheers,

Lol threadomancy at its best. This thread is from Dec. 2006. That said, the table IS fantastic and worth the resurrect just to see again.
