greetings one and all.

it coming up to pay day and that means I am going to buy an addition for my army!

the current army is IG and only weighing in at 1000 points.

I still need a Commander for the army,
I have just the 1 Leman Russ (so far)
I have a 3 man Sentinel squad (love the models)
I have a 5 man storm trooper squad (also love these, there is a part in one of the Eisenhorn books where the Karskin are involved which really catches my imagination)
I have two platoons for infantry
I have 1 Valkyrie (again so far)

So folks, what shall I get with my hard earned pennies this month?

The catch I have is I accidently managed to get engaged so money is a little tight...
turns out women like to spend money on weddings


shall I get...

A Lord Commisar - for the HQ choice (I have an inquisitor which could carry out this role instead)

A full Karskin squad

a Chimera

or do I start my next project that will be the Eldar (I have a shockingly short attention span and really enjoy the back stories of all the races)

well as you need a commander I'd go for either the lord Commisar or the command squad box to make a regimental command.

I'd vote command squad since its a sweet kit and you get great bits for additions to other IG squads. Then you have a proper army. Failing that get some Eldar pathfinders/rangers (You know the ones with the cloaks and sniper rifles). They're sweet too.

Personally, I would get another Leman Russ. It gives you some more heavy long range support in your army
