He is Fluffy, He CAN be good you just need to make sure he has a purpose and serves it.

10x marines:
a. champ
power fist
plasma gun
No Rhino? They run the risk of being shot up before even getting anywhere.

9x beserkers:
skull cha,p
plasma pistol
rhino
Cookie Cutter, Maybe a second Plasma pistol but not a huge issue. Maybe a Power Weapon? because they are close combat once your stuck in that plasma pistol does not do a whole lot where as a nice power weapon can be used every round.

5x havocs
lascannon
missle launcher
autocannon
hvy boter
I dont know about this... first off to many options in one squad. As Flame States go with 4 of the same option. Back to the whole versatile meet effectiveness.

predator:
TL lascannon
hvy bolters
extra armour
havoc launcher
Going to be blunt here, really big point sink. I would toss in a Defiler or a Vindicator to basically become a fire magnet to allow for those zerkers and HQ to get into close combat. I say this is a point sink because the way the game has evolved in terms of its mobility that vehicle will rarely ever be able to fire all those weapons.

The biggest thing when I build lists I ether devote it to being a Close combat army and do everything I can to make it effective at that. Or if I want to do a 'shooty' army I devote everything to that. My reason is simply because I would rather do one thing well and execute it properly rather then do half cc and have range at half effectiveness. some will disagree which is fine but thats my theory on it.

Best of luck!

rest of the list i dont think as much of an issue (although the havocs are rather expensive)

Ya I agree with the Havok issue... they are a nice touch but just not worth it, they just seem like more of a liability then asset..
