Hey all,

Hope this is the right place. I'm after some advice.

I have a couple of PVC material gaming mats which I'd like to mount onto thick card and then chop up in small sections for ease of storage and carrying.

However, I'm a bit lost as to how to get the mat stuck to the board and, then, how to get the sections to connect (obviously I don't want them just sitting next to each other, they need some form of clip).

The mats are currently stored rolled up in the tube they arrived in, but I'm not keep on it.

Anyone any experience in this?

thank you.

I would use liquid nails or something like that to get them glued to the card. You may want to consider interlocking foam pads like you would see with kids mats and then you won't need a clip for them and you can arrange them however you need.

Spray contact adhesive will give a great bond on all but polystyrene, but it is unforgiving. Once it's stuck it's stuck. I'm a fan of magnets for holding boards together, will require thicker board to mount magnets 5mm should do the trick.
