Voting is open to all members of the Forum. All entrants must vote, and cannot vote for themselves.

Each member of the Forum can cast one vote in each of the two categories by posting in this thread:

Most Innovative Idea: This category covers the pure imagination that fuels conversions so is for the cleverest idea irrespective of technical execution

Best Executed Idea: As well as ideas conversions are works of technical skill, so this category covers the ability to make a converted model look as if it has always been that way irrespective of how ambitious the change was.

Voting will close at midnight GMT on 11 August 2015.

Vote do not need to include a reason but they are encouraged.

For example, I might put:

Most Innovative Idea: The Mod Team - the Conversion Deathmatch is a great idea

Best Executed Idea: The Mod Team - the Conversion Deathmatch has been run very well.

a custom flier I'll be building. It's going to be a sleeker, meaner take on a Fire Raptor for my Thousand Sons.

He's the base apothecary from Forge World and I'm converting him up to be a Primus Medicae. At this juncture all I've done is add decals to the model and remove the chainsword and bolt pistol hands.

Most Innovative: Xabre - whether it's making a different codex work for a themed list or making models into what you see in your mind, your creativity is always on point.

Best Executed: Deus Mortis - getting hands on arms right can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but you've got it looking pretty good on this one!

Honestly, I have to give both most innovative/best executed to ntaw. Those flamers actually look like something that forgeworld would have made as weapon kit expansions in my opinion. 10/10 because it looks like a product that people would buy to make their army look cooler, and it would.

Kudos to Deus Mortis though, making 2h weapons that look good and fit well is such a pain in the ass to achieve. You almost had my vote for executed, but the arms look just slightly too long. Still, I'm going to send some rep your way because I personally have such a hard time doing that myself

I've got to say that Xabre takes my vote for most innovative. You were going for sleeker and meaner Fire Raptor and what you have is something that looks like the Xiphon's big brother. Cudos.

However, I do feel that ntaw's conversion is the sleeker of the two so it gets my vote for best executed.
