Because Mind War says that it does not allow armour saves, does that mean the model may get an invl. save. I'm guessing the model does because it would specifically say. please help me out on this.

the model does get an invun save, as it is a different type of save.

Yep.

If the ability says "No ARMOUR Saves" then you still get invul and cover. If it says "No saves" then you don't get any kind of save.
