Well I have started my vindicator and I am happy wih the glueing. Any suggestions for painting would be good, It will be going into a BA army so as per my other units it will be Mechrite Red (I prefer the dark red as apposed to the fluffy light red).

I have also left the commanders bolter and the hunter killer so they can be moved up or down, which is cool

very cool stuff! looking forward to seeing how it turns out, im sure it will look great in red the only thing i would say would be to put details around exhaust like black streaks from years of service and things like that.

why would I paint it more red than mechrite, I may have a layer of blood red under the edges so when I file out parts you will get that nromal layering painted look on the damage.

ANy suggestions to what you mean

well mecharite is a basecoat, so that would be the first layer of paint over black. then, i would give the model a coat of scab or red gore to give it a 'red colour.'

mecharite does not cover black that well, and leaves a horrible powdery finish.
i thin kthis is supposed ot be in the attack bike one but hey thanks

i used that foundation on my space wolves realised it should of been shadow grey my prfered color even though people like it lighter or highlight it so shadow grey cant be seen then people do lunar wolves

Red ink will help bring the colour to a darker level as well if needed.
