Malifaux figures often irritate me since they don't attach well to their bases, but they're always excellent sculpts. I really dig the executioners in the first picture-- Might get a box of them to make Cultist Champions out of for my Chaos Space Marines.

This is the one fault I have with them as well. The. Samuel Hopkins mini has such a gaping straddle on him that you can barely fit him on the base, and one of the death Marshalls poses is so off centre you have to weight the base to keep it standing.

I've only picked up a few of their mini's and that was just because I thought they were cool looking and would be fun to paint. Some really wierd stuff in that game. Speaking of that, how's the game itself play? Fun? Hard to learn?

I've only played half a dozen games, but the card mechanic takes a bit of getting used to, and there are a few rules that make things a bit more complicated than they need to be, but on the whole it's very good. There's a lot of thinking involved in your list selection because of the interaction between certain characters and how their special rules/spells/skills compliment each other and can lead to some seriously killer combos.
