Hi All

As part of a little incentive to get a few more players in the area into the wonderful world of Malifaux me and a few friends are going to tackle a tale of four gamers style approach to collecting, painting and gaming with our (relatively) new gaming system.

I was wondering what the level of interest on Heresy was for this game format and whether it would be worth my while to have a project log as I endeavor to collect all of the mighty Guild (with a few mercenaries)

I'm having my first game this Saturday (with a borrowed Crew), but I've already purchased and painted The Dreamer/Lord Compy Bits.

Keen to see some more Malifaux.

Monthly Updates

November - Starter Box and Model to Make 25 SS Crew
December - Expand to 35 ss and One Battle Report (plan on a narrative battle report)
January - Second Master for Faction and Battle Report
February - Expand to Brawl Size, 2 Masters and 50SS and 4 way Battle Report

I have decided that I will be collecting a new crew (as I already have a Nicoderm Ressurectionist crew for 25SS games with lots of Canine Remains, Vultures and Summoning Mindless Zombies, Flesh Construct ect ect) and I love the Lady Justice boxset and theme.

So have purchased the Box and Ordered a Scales of Justice (which came with a free Miss Demeanor :biggrin so have a great starting point for the peice.

Also I have already failed November as we were ment to take photos of our models assembled but un-painted (I NEVER read the small print)

Unfortunately the Lady Justice Boxset is currently out of stock at the supplier so I will not be able to play the GUild in the upcoming Tale of Four Gamers (but will keep the boxset on order for my personal collection plus the girlfriend has shown an interest in the replacement crew so can have a live in opponant),

So have plugged for a Crazy Casting Russian, so with the Cult of December Boxset and Essance of Power Totem I have the following 25 Soulstone Crew

Ice Golem
3 Ice Gamin

Had a game tonight, using some Fire Gamins, who ran fairly well. Loved the ability to set things on fire, causing wounds/slow.
Are the Ice ones similar?

They are pretty much the same but with a opposite theme, fire and ice

fire gamin is faster, better in melee but has no triggers

ice gamin is far better defensively (road block) and allows casters to use their LOS for casting but at -3CA
