I was wondering how this works. We have come across an interesting discussion during a game.

A player had a Haemonculus, a talos and a Chronos in a formation (not sure what its actually called).

This gives a majority toughness of 7. Anyway when in a challenge the with my librarian he was using this toughness when I was trying to cause wounds. I did try to clarify this in the rules afterwards (I just rolled with it in the game) but its not very clear as far as I can tell.

Anybodies thoughts on which toughness should be used? The Haemonculus or the majority?

For the duration of the challenge, these two models are considered to be in base contact with each other and, when rolling To Hit and To Wound, they always use the Weapon Skill and Toughness of their opponent.
