I'm starting to put together an order for magnets on my miniatures, and i was wondering what size of magnets people typically use on miniatures.

I'm looking to magnetize my sanguinary guard squads and a few assault marines. and about 13 vehicles (6 preds , 6 razorbacks, 2 land raiders). What has worked for you?

I think 2x1mm is the standard size for infantry. You can probably go a couple of mm bigger for tanks, though i'm not sure you'd need to.

2x1mm 3x1mm and 5x1mm tends to cover most things for me

the 3x1 i find are perfect for most jobs

I bought about 200 of the 2x1 and 100 of the 3x1, along with 52 strip magnets to put on my tanks. Just gotta wait for them to come now. For now I'm experimenting with using green (grey) stuff for sculpting. I really wish i had a decent camera to share some of the work i've done sometimes. I can never seem to get the models in focus.
