Hello,

Recently we had a real pleasure of painting a Lizardmen Basitladon with Ark of Sotek We went a bit „wild” with it – tried the natural pattern on it’s armour and took reference in the real world snakes to paint the ones being spewed out. Take a look at him as well!







How do you like the realistic approach to resemble the tropical repilte?

How did you paint your skinks? I'm having some trouble trying to get the skin right on my lizardmen.

Nice work. The gun-grey armour plates look a bit deliberate, as though you were trying to liken the model back to having plate armour, but otherwise and despite this it looks pretty good.

The skinks were done that way:

GW incubi darkness -> Vallejo magic blue -> Vallejo electric blue -> Electric blue + white
