I would avoid the yellow, these are melted rocks, not fire. Look at lava flow pictures, yellow is not a normal colors. Various red's to white. For first time in bases they are looking good. Love the glow.
Even though lava doesn't have yellow, the yellow creates the glow effect. I'd leave it. I'd also go around the rim of the base in black-- that'll help make the effect pop a bit more. Looks great though!
I might go further than TSoH and suggest putting some black on the far edges of the rocks as well; this will give them the false sense of being darker than they really are that affects things next to bright lights.
Okay taking verything said into consideration i altered the base a bit ,the first thing i did was give to two slate pieces a heavy-ish wash of black then i re-washed the edges 2 times to make them appear darket ,then i heavy drybrushed the center orange then a lite drybrush of red over that and finally i drybrush an dark blue over the edges of the stone ...oh! and i painted the edge of the base black.
