Is it worth getting extra armour on a landraider redeemer, especially if you want to use it as an assault terminator delivery system? Im just wondering as the extra points can be used much more effectivly elseware.

yes!

IMO you want that thing always moving to melt the face of your enemy, other wise someone stuns you your dead in the water next turn you blow up and you have not got to use those templates and your termies are walking.

and i'd say whatever vehicle your using for an assault unit needs to have the ability to always move.

I use to thinnk the same thing until I tried it myself. Having the extra armour makes a big difference because most armies will try to glance or stun the landraider then destroy it next turn. Being able to ignore these and keep moving means your terminators get to where you want them.

Transports want to be able to kleep moving. somethign like a Vindicator or predator are missalbe but a transport really does need it if you cna get the points in.

Yep, any Vehicle that is expecting to move should have Extra Armor on it. It's not going to deliver those terminators sitting stunned in the middle of the field.
