I was flicking through an old WD and came across the Kroot army list.

Did anyone play this, if so how did it get on? and how was it against players who take lots of vehicles?

Essentially it was to expand the Kroot. Included a small armoury, weapons from different races, evolutionary adaptations such as ork hybrid and new entries such as headhunter kroot, vulture kroot, Krootox herds etc

You could take them as allies for certain forces although it could at a pinch be playable pure although it was lacking in some heavy weaponry.

if i remember correctly it delt fairly well with light armoured armies, e.g orks

however termie or vehicle heavy armies it really struggled

tho some conversions people have done are freaking shweet (they are dotted all around the interweps)
