Kobold Press Bestiary: A Collection Of Fantasy Miniatures is Effin Cool Miniatures latest Kickstarter.

It is for a licence to produce a range of 28mm white metal miniatures based on the character classes and creatures from Kobold Presses "Midgard" campaign setting, as well as their "the Tome of Beasts" books.

Its a 30 day campaign and is off to great start, nearly 40% funded as i write this only a couple of hrs after launching.

Theres is 20 miniatures on offer once funded and they have many of the sculpts in hand, they also have more miniatures planned as stretch goals.

They are funded and have unlocked the first stretch goal "Far Darrig", they are now working their way towards "The Queen of Night and Magic".

Imo they keep to the concept art but in an '80s style of sculpting rather than if they were done today by Mierce Minis.

Imo they keep to the concept art but in an '80s style of sculpting rather than if they were done today by Mierce Minis.

Poor sculpts, which IMO these are, are simply poor sculpts. That doesn't make them 80s style sculpting.

They have also added the The Thursir Giant to the selection of add-ons on offer.
