Hopefully this will be of interest to some of you - one of my friends is currently undertaking an experiment in how long it takes to kill a chapter of marines. Starting with a full strength chapter (as per Codex Astartes) he is keeping track during each game he plays of which troopers die, which vehicles get wrecked, and not using those again. I've always wanted to test this sort of thing out but never had the oppertunity. Will be watching this with interest.

Yeah but you take casualties no matter if you win or lose.
