Gidday from New Zealand folks,
I’m very new to war gaming (just started earlier this year) but am already impressed with the friendliness of the community. Some specialised forums tend to be elitist but it seems Warhammer gamers have a very different attitude. Well done. I look forward to learning a lot and hopefully help others as I improve my knowledge base.
I found this site through one of the NZ forums which had a link to the tutorial on lava bases by Damned Fist (which is awesome by the way). That tutorial will be my starting point for putting together a Chaos Daemon army. That way I can then step over to Fantasy as well. I started with a Daemonhunter army as I love the fluff and the idea of “You take the thousand on the left and I’ll take the thousand on the right”.
Oh, and Tuatara? A very old member of the Reptile family (although not a lizard) that were around at the time of the dinosaurs and are still around today. Sort of how I feel a lot of the time .
