I've been playing 40k for about 5 or 6 years now. I currently have about 4000 points worth of Imperial guard, with another 4000 point armored company in the works (waiting on the packages from ebay!) I also have roughly 2500 points worth of SoB and Grey Knights. I discovered this forum while doing a google search for "Warhammer 40k tactics" Looks like I found the right place! I've learned quite a bit about what works and what doesn't for the footslogging grunts so if you have questions about starting an IG army, let me know.

Welcome to the forum. Great to see another Guard fan. I was thinking of starting a Armoured Company but didn't due to funds. Is it Leman Russ heavy or Artillary based?
