Ok I have seen a list of the things included in the boxset WOW I think there are like half as many points of SK as there are HE..................So what are they thinking.
OK I think they are thinking lets release some of these great new SK out of the box set in individual boxes and since they look amazing we will charge an arm and a leg for them....
"These gamers now have to buy more SK if they want the same points cost as the HE army and Oh yeah lets make a smaller number of IOB boxes available so they have to buy the individual packs for a ton."


Lets see how fast the IOB box set runs out and they start selling the same stuff in smaller packs and charging double what we pay now.

OK the rule question since I put this in the wrong category how does one play roughly 800points of HE vs 450points of SK?

You don't. You drop the Lord on Griffon, then it's 450 versus 500 roughly, and tool the Mage up.

Why is the Griffon included?If not to ride.

Because if the Skaven manages to actually get a shot off with the Warpfire Thrower it will insta-kill more or less any of the elf units.
