Hi there, i am new to warhammer and dwarves and was reading through the ironbreaker tactics on the GW website. It states that they have a 2+ armour save but from the army book, they only have gromril armour and a shield giving them a 3+ save. Could you please explain which is correct?

Thanks in advance, Chris

Units in close combat who have a shield and a normal hand weapon get another +1 to their armour save. Did you take this into consideration.

no I didn't. I have the hardback rulebook but haven't had chance to have a good read through it yet and couldn't find any rules like this at a glance. I will have to find time to have a really thorough read through it. Is it the same for all armies then?

Yeah it's the same for all armies.

Only counts for mundane hand weapons though so characters don't get it if they have a magic weapon

So your Ironbreakers have a 3+ save vs missle weapons and a 2+ in close combat
