In general they are allowed to take Techmarines as HQ choices and upgrade their Vet Sgts to wear Terminator armor cheaper than normal Sgt can but still more expensive than normal Terminator cost. They also field fewer Landspeeders and something else but I cant rememebr off the top my head.
Iron Hands have the traits:
- Heed the Wisdom of the Ancients (Elite/Heavy Dreadnoughts)
- Scion of Mars (Techmarine HQ, Terminator Sergeants)
- Eye to Eye (0-1 Bikes/Speeders)
they look kool with there conversions you can give them... especially with the necron parts you can use...
ive seen an iron hands sergeant he had a necron arm with a storm bolter on it LOL and his head was the best... ther was a part of his skull taken out and a cut pice of a necron head was placed in there it looked like somthing of the terminator
They are Called Iron Hands Because their Primarch rammed a Metal Dragon into lava and when they emerged they were covered in metal. They went on to name their chapter after Ferrus Manus's hands.
an old back issues of WD had there chapter approved rules breakdown and mentioned dreadnoughts as chapter clan leaders, have you come across or have any ideas/special rules for a dreadnought as an HQ choice? heavier weapons maybe or extra attacks
