Why was the Chapter Founded: CrusadeThe Iron Death were formed to expand the reach of the Imperium in the God Emperor's name, they keep their crusade to the Eastern Fringes, however on many occasions they have assisted their brother space marines in the Black Templar in their own crusades. This honourable chapter have waged their crusades against the Orks, Tau, Necrons and Tyranids, however their greatest enemy can be found within the Forces of Chaos, the heretical Chaos Space Marines of the Plague Mongers Legion.
Founded: 33rd Millennium (5th Founding)
At the Dawn of the 33rd Millennium, this Chapter was formed in to expand the borders of the Imperium during what is now known as The Forging or the Golden Age of the Imperium.
