Hello, My name is M, and I am playing a Thousand Sons Army.. Its been awhile since Ive played, and I had a couple questions concerning the new Chaos Codex. 1st question is about demons. I noticed in the new codex they are in 2 catagories, Greater and Lesser. Do they still count as having separate stats, as in the previous codex, like the bloodthirster being the only one with an armor save and the bloodletters having an armor save, or do they all follow under the new rules in the new codex. 2nd question, im not exactly sure of every unit / type im entitled to use in a thousand sons army.. any help would be appreciated, as it has been a few years since i have played.. sorry for being noobish..

Hi and welcome to the site :grin:

In answer to your question they are all the same, so just one great deamon but you can use any model for this and any deamon models for the lesser ie blood letters, plague bearers etc at the moment it doesn't really matter.

But keep it themed it looks better.
Look through the threads you'll find lots of info and help there.

as for your question, there are only two types of daeomon, and they are pretty generic. theres a daemon codex coming out soon (ish) and that will have all the different types of daemon in apparently.

thank you everyone for the warm welcomes and advice, i just wasnt sure about some of the new rules, only because i remember that you couldnt have certain demons or units in certain armies in chaos because of what chapter you were playing with.. thanks again, i appreciate all the help i can get....
