Just a quick fluff question. Does the Imperium have a sea going navy? and if so what would it look like ( WW1/WW2 more modern or like those ones on that Halo Multiplayer map down by the docks.) Just thought it would be cool and maybe kinda like Manowar for warhammer.
For those of you without ODSt heres the Carrier

Well, some planets PDF might have some, but I dont see any real need, as they could just fly over the sea at a higher speed and do it on ground as well...

i guess but what about water worlds. BTW on a hunch checked the old 40K rulebook on the phoenix island campaign. Apparently the Imperium has ships to escort tankers across the sea. but it may be just the PDF

One of the Henry Zoo books has a lot about a PDF naval fleet in it

Double Eagle, which is about to be rereleased, if I remember correctly, has a Imperial Fleet in there. While it may focus on the Pilots, that particular chapter is rather good! I would say that without a doubt, nearly every world with an ocean will have some form of fleet like this :)

Saw a rule for an ork sub in IA I think.
There were rules for Ork subs in a White Dwarf as well, 344 if I am correct, it was the Dark Elf one, that is certain, and they had a "Liber Apocalyptica" article about the 3 Armaggedon wars, and there was a datasheet for some kind of Ork submersible...
