I didn't really know if this would be here or in the Rules discussion, but I'm putting it here anyway. I honestly hate the fact that a Heavy Weapons Team is on one base. To me it just looks ridiculous. I was wondering how many of you would accept a player bring his HW team on seperate bases. Now ofcourse nothing would change the team would be kept in close proxmity of each other and would still follow the same rules. The only change would be ofcourse in CC as they are no longer on such a large base. Basically the loader would sit on a guardsmen base (I don't know the measurements so forgive me) and the weapons guy would sit on a space marine bikers base (unless it's a missile launcher). Now ofcourse I will have a normal team for each seperate team also just in case I play against someone who is adament they do not want to play against the HW team on seperate bases. So any comments on that?

In a friendly game i guess it would be ok, but you would need consent from the opponent.

All models must be mounted on the bases that they were provided with, meaning you will have a problem if you played in a tournament.

Why do you want them on separate bases anyway?

oh it's simply for aesthitic purposes. I just hate the two guys on the monster base. When they first introduced the Steel Legion the one and only turn off I had for the army (well other than no meltagun armed model) was the HW team on the same base. It just looked so encumbersome.

chromedog that is an excellent idea. I probably will have to shop the handywork out to someone else as I am completely useless when it comes to that, but that would definitely work.

Also I was in Newcastle yesterday, my wife does a lot of work up there.

Should be fun using Forge World Special Weapon Squads. Some are on 50mm single bases, others are 2x25mm base models, even though they're 6 individual models.

@ WaaaghBong. Obviously not, as Heavy Weapon teams have 2 wounds, to represent two men in the team.

Tbh, should go back to how it was before. Gave you another lasgun, Harhar.

I'm currently out of newcastle on holidays. :D

It wasn't too hard. I got some 60mm discs cut from 3mm mdf (lasercut) through some friends. I just attacked them (when I got them home) with a 25mm spade bit in my drill (it makes a neat 25mm hole that the bases slot into nicely.
