I'm surprised no one has posted this yet. It was in the FW bulletin earlier. They really are speeding through the legion specific contemptors. It's nice to see the templar cross on there as well. It'll make it more applicable for BTs as well, if you said that it's a chapter relic of a time before the second founding.

Fits the ethic of the IF. I like it. Honestly not a fan of the Templar Cross - if there was ever a time for a Legion Templar Dreadnought, that was it, but it is not exactly a major problem.

What's with all these Gatling guns? I thought the assault cannon was post heresy hence why chaos don't get them
Unless I'm mistaken, legionnes astartes forces only have the option for them on contemptors, which would lead me to believe that they were an experimental concept at the time.

Contemptor Kheres Assault Cannons are more powerful versions. Legion Astartes get access to Rotor Cannons, which are basically miniature assault cannons. However book 3 has given Imperial Fist and Blood Angel Terminators access to assault cannons with the old malfunction rule.

Jam. Jam. Jam. Ka-Boom.....!

I used to dread throwing my three sustained fire dice for that very reason
