I'm looking at selling off one of my SM forces (Astral Claws), it's not huge force (Captain, Command Squad, 10 Tactical Marines, 5 Scouts, and 5 Devs), with upgrades it comes to about 820 points and I'm wondering how best to market it, should I rip some arms off and replace power weapons with non power weapons etc to try and slim it down to 750 or should I look at adding something to bulk it up to 1000?

If you were in the market for a SM allies force what would you look for?

I think that it is fine as is, if someone doesn't want to use X, Y, or Z from the force they do not HAVE to take it.

Honestly I feel that 1k points is perfect for ally "armies" have a few extra options rolling around, like a squad of terminators/sternguard/WTF & a dreadnought and BAM instant ally army that one can move units in & out of to make better use of the situation.

I say sell it as is. That way the potential purchaser can fill it out if need be and adjust it to their liking. Genuinely, change absolutely nothing
