so the spoils of owning a store is sometime you get things early....and this is one of those times i happy it did.

so far with a quick read through im liking it...the book is just simply beautiful(and all you nay Sayers from my last thread can go fuck yourselves..this is and i mean IS a fan boy thread!!!)

now that being said..hehe..im finding this book just hard to put down..its pages and pages of beauty i feel GW really have done a great job..the tactical and psychic cards are also lovely nice strong print and card stock.

as for the rules..its really this simple..things have either stayed the same...or minor tweaks.or completely different...haha thats useless isn't..
no but seriously some of the things if found...were very interesting like the small change to shooting.

there are some things that didnt get changed like "ignores cover" and assualt from a vehicle but i guess we can deal with that...

ive only had the book for about and hour but i wanted to share my enthusiasm for this...
i know people will basht his thread with hate but i really dont care ...gw have done a Great job on this book...on the rules well we need to see...but sofar its looking good.


well im over to do some more reading to see what else has changed.....or not...:victory:

the psychic phase is extremely simple...its actually quite interesting...still leave deamon and eldar...grey knights and even nids overpowered...but i like it will be intersting to see how it works on the table

the new shooting phase in now by unit and then by weapon...so you can choose what to fire first...then create wound pool..allocate...then remove models..then select the next weapons..weapons that are the same ie.bolters all fore together...
i like this...can give you options...you have a flamer..clear out a few wound takers so you dont waste the important guns..

FMC i don't understand why they needed to be tweaked...grounding tests now on wounds..not hits...that's a bit tough...makes FMC all that much harder...but then it give the nids abit more survivability i guess

psitols in combat...this is ok i iguess..S user no Ap...was kinda hoping that you could shoot your plasma pistol or hand melta..that would have been fun....oh im in combat oops gets hot BOOOOM blew yourself up hahahah...love to see that in combat

soo..they make vehicles harder to blow up...but dont change the glancing rule....? thats abit odd...so will vehicles last longer.? hmm dont know...they cant get 1 shoted as easily but glancing is still glancing... at least my land raider should be really tough to kill hehe

i get the feeling that with the vehilce damgae table the way it is...are the pushing for us to use superheavies???

Could you confirm 3 things for me:

1) Overwatch and snapshots are unchanged.

2) Consolidation into other units in CC is not in, and CC works just as today.

3) Deny the witch on opponents blessings and how they work compared to the Deny the Witch on hostile abilities.

That would be awesome to get a final confirmation on those three topics :)

from what i can see its the same..but it does make to rules changing the BS of snapfire...wonder who thats for

i have seen nothing about that...the only change ive seen is pistol in combat
That would be awesome to get a final confirmation on those two topics :)

this is how it works...the player whos turn it is roll a dice..you both get that many dice..then then player adds his masterylevel to it...so say 3 + 3 equal 6 then you attempt to cast a power rolling asmany dice as you need to get 4+ so warp charge 1..1 4+etc/ then the opponent get to deny..they choose how many dice they wish to use..but get modifiers..psyker rule +1.master level higer +1 adamantium will +1

it all seems rather simple

Ah excellent, so there's no difference between denying a buff and denying a offensive spell.

Thanks a lot mate :good:
not that i can see..but it is a rather fast read through...also perils is rather tough this time..especially for the new powers
