I think $800 is optimistic, still, nothing ventured, nothing gained. I think you'd be better off splitting it down into individual lots. Not many people want/can afford a whole army.

I've tried selling armies before. Didn't get a sniff. I had to sell the tanks in lots of two or three but often people only want one. Couldn't shift my infantry even when split down into platoons, even my steel legion platoons! having said that, that was here not Ebay. You may as well let the auction run, it's not gonna cost you anything if it doesn't sell

well personally i think you should close the listing and start again, take better photos, honestly you will put people off by showing all the infantry dumped in a box, divide the army into easy to manage cheap chunks and start the price as low as possible, low price = more bids= higher end price=higher up in the ebay search too.
the easy way to think about selling on ebay is this how many people have $10 in there paypal account ? answer is lots, how many people have $700 in paypal or the bank?
small cheap lots will sell every time,1 expensive lot might sell but its seriously unlikely.

just make sure your postage costs will cover the actual postage and packing, this is one of the biggest mistakes made by sellers, under estimating postage costs.
