More specifically, how would you paint aqua green marble. I felt it would be a better alternative to a Cities of Death base of Chaos Black and Codex Grey for my Pre-Heresy Emperor's Children. I've found some pics of something I hope to end up with:

If you've got any tips (besides stabbing my brushed into submission to get that effect) please let me know.

Ive seen the second one done before. Basically, you need to start with black, blend through shadow grey(ish) and then into a hawk turquoise/ice blue/SW grey type mix.

It is a notoriously difficult effect to get to look effective though, and may not be what you want to do for 20-30+ bases
