I made myself a custom standard bearer (pics later) but I have no banner for him.

I was thinking of using the lid of a cd case (cut to shape) and applying heat to get the wavey pattern. I'll try that tonight, but is there another way to do it? He can't exist without a banner.

I would try and use some thin plasticard, its easier to cut and shape. I've actually drawn shapes on the surface and used standard scissors to cut out shapes. I can't remember the thickness I used but you can buy sheets of it at hobby stores for around ten dollars. You can heat it with a blow drier to help you shape it and mold it to appear more "banner like".

Or you could try and attmept to scultpt it out of Green Stuff.

Good Luck hope this helps.

The kind of foil that you sometimes get round the top of wine bottles is pretty good - it's much thicker than the kind you roast turkeys in, but thinner than toothpaste tube foil, and it holds shapes quite well.

Of course, depending on how old you are, this may not be the ideal solution... but someone, at least, is likely to get a lovely bottle of Shiraz out of it (hurrah!)

If you want some cheap greenstuff you should try to get som greenstuff/kneadatite. Its a lot cheaper then the GW version and you get lots of it when you buy it.

Its normally used for plumming, so a store that sell supplies for plummers should have it, or simply google it ;)
