I just got the new chaos army so I wanted to make a Horus using GW parts
I used a bit of putty to raise him up a bit and will put him on a tall base

The chest is from the new chaos plastic termie as is the mace the claw,head and legs are from the new commander
This isn't even the pose I made the arms poseable and found the Talon of Horus bit.new pics soon

Prefer the second pose as well, just seem to give it that little bit extra.

What's going to be a challenge is putting the same amount of effort in to the base as the main fig.

So far it looks great. I'll be glad to see this when it's all done and tricked out!

Nice one dude. The pose looks great. Love the BA on the base as well - especially their older still armour - looks perfect.

Would you just be able to enlighten me on the mace? - where does that come from fluff wise - I've seen it in quite a few pictures but have never come across it in the novels.

the mace is in the HH collection and is briefly mentioned in GiF the scene where Erebus and Big H contact the deamon
