One other question I forgot to ask earlier:

My hormogaunts for my 'Nid army are very front heavy, toppling when someone walks within 50 feet of one, lol...Anyone have any suggestions on an inexpensive way to add weight to the bases?

As usual, thanks in advance...

Great Ideas...

TGM: I'll give that a try ,that may be the perfect solution.

Tried the washer and penny idea but you have to deal with the slot for the model with those...Would work for sure, though with a bit of work....The Flash idea never occurred to me, and I have had tons of it on my workdesk from the mad modeling I have been doing the past few weeks. Mad at myself that I didn't think of that, lol...

Thanks again all, for the great suggestions

I just glued nickel plated washers to my bases, right to the bottom. It had the unintended effect of raising the models a millimeter and tripling the weight of the models but I gained the ability that they stand on their own. I litterally have to toss them on to a table (felt covered for their protection) and they will right themselves. I did it to my Genes and Termas as well.

Demand that the gaming table is tilted until it's at an angle where they balance out. If people complain, just call them wusses and tell them real men fight on hills.

I think the lead idea is best, if you don't fancy smashing lead weights you can get a can of lead shot for very cheap and that should last you for a whole lot of bases.

If you can't find lead shot smashed up BB's or pellets work too.

Leadshot. The stuff used in shotgun shells. weights down the bases nicely, and isn't restricted by it's size, like a penny, nickel, or lead fishing weight, so it can fill oblong holes, like on the slotted bases that come with the new gaunt models.
