In the picture below you can see that I got rid of my Catachan Sentinel tops and went with natural cover. How do I harden the moss so I can paint it? I have thought about glue and water but it absorbs the water quickly...will it make it hard or is there better options? Thanks in advance!

Some form of varnish may work? Give 'ardcoat a try, although I am inclined to think an enamel varnish would be better.

Modge Podge is a good Idea but regular PVA Glue and water will work. Just remember it will take a fairly significant time to dry. You will probably have to give it two or three coats (be very liberal when applying it) as well. Alternatively you can use Coarse Turf to give a simliar effect but youd have to build a base for it (toothpicks and a few coats of wash and youre done really). Is it real Moss?
