This is sort of a color theory question.
I picked up the new high elf dragon box, and it's a sexy model. I'm doing a NMM gold armour/red cloth scheme on the army, so coming up with a suitable color for the dragon has been a toughie. My initial thought was to do a grey and have it be a silver dragon (my images of dragons are very D&D skewed) but I'm not sure that'd look very...Sun Dragon-y. They're supposed to be very warm and light since they're not that old, but I think if I do an orange or red it'll sort of wash in with the NMM gold armor and the red robes.
Any thoughts on what might look good and still clearly be a sun dragon? I don't want there to be any confusion between it and an Archmage on a Moon Dragon, because...yeah... eventually I think I'll probably get one because that's even meaner than the Dragon Mage on the Sun Dragon...
