I am a total NOOB of Darkness and the infernal not knowing.

How cani make shodwy things on the minatures? a firend told me to use black ink... :S

how much time to fully finish a simple model (chaos space marine for instance)

how can paint with more accuracy without painting parts i dont want? is there a technique? i know i am not talented at all but at least I want my army to look decent.

thx

Do you mean darkening the recessess when you say "shadowy" things, PLease explain a little further...

As far as painting more accurately I would start from the inside out, meaning paint those recessess and hard to reach places. Thats usually a good start and requires less touch up, unfortunately touch up is the nature of the beast.

As far as the time it takes for each miniature there is no set answer, It really depends on how detailed you want to be.

Don't forget too that even the best painters will have to go back and do touch ups on parts of the model they accidentally got paint on that they didn't want to.

Timewise, it all depends on you. I know people who put out beautiful models in a day or two while I usually take a week for the same.
