Damn near everything in the WM/Hordes range is in metal currently. There are some in plastic as well but not resin.

I think all the models you've bought are metal.

Privateer Press have started doing some of their newer models in plastic, such as the faction heavy warjack kits and the new Cygnar Battlegroup. However they used a harder plastic than GW, which requires superglue.

The new starter boxes with the grey models are NOT resin, however much they may look like it.
They are made from ABS plastic, which regular polystyrene solvent adhesives DO NOT WORK on. This is the same plastic that Mongoose used for their plastic Starship Troopers miniatures lines.
Superglue OR a PVC adhesive (what plumbers use to join ABS or PVC pipes) is your only real option here (epoxy adhesives don't grab it either unless you give the surfaces a good roughing up).

Othewise, if it's an old starter, it's metal, and then you need superglue or epoxy adhesives (araldite from 5 min to 24 hour cure, whatever).

The plastic warjacks don't need pinning. They all have some pretty sturdy joins.

Altogether, if you're playing with the new plastic battlebox, you will still want to glue everything together with superglue- lucky for you, this is the same stuff you'll be wanting to use on the metal minis.

Mind, I've gotten to the point where I use superglue on GW plastics too. It just wasn't worth continually buying a separate glue for them.

Who has to continually buy different glue for plastic models over metals?
You don't need to use that much of it on a plastic kit. You can easily put together 300 space marines (or other infantry) model with a bottle of Contacta.

I go through about a bottle of plastic cement a year at most (superglue I go through much quicker - the metal/plastic hybrids don't work with poly.)
