Hi I am running an Apocalypse battle over the school holidays using the school gym as the battle field (over three days) and I could do with some pointers on how to keep the game flowing without wasting time
The main city is 12 foot by 12 feet with 19 building a defensive wall a 24” wide river goes through the middle with a 10” wide bridge there are two other 10” wide bridge over the river which is 50 foot long. There is an industrial area 13 foot by 6 foot a mining are 9 foot by 6 foot, about 36 pill boxes dotted around I could go on but that is the basics.

Side one has
10,000 points of Space Wolves
20,000 points of Blood Angels
11,000 points of Imp Guard

Side two has
9,500 points of Imp Guard/Chaos
6,000 points of Nids
4,000 points of Orks
8,000 points of Dark Elder
13,000 points of Tau

Any help would be most helpful cheers in advance

Well try and get the phases of the game done at the same time for every player, so everyone finishes the movement phase at the same time. This stops people getting bored and wandering off. Keep up friendly chat and be sure to point out really important events like Vortex Grenades going off or Catastrophic Meltdowns killing entire Ork Mobs etc.

MidnightSun has summed up what I was gonna say. Most importantly have fun! Hope you know the point sizes are unequal.
Thanks for the feed back, I know that there is 500 points differance but we will sort that out on the day with apocalypse strategic assets.
when you say for all players to move at the same time do you mean all player on one side or Both? (sorry I wasn't sure)

Most importantly: If there´s a rule disagreement (its goddamn Apoc), roll a dice, or go with the "funkiest" choice.

And by the titans, dont attempt to do uber-cheezy stuff, like making Silver Towers gigantic, and set all the objectives in one small zone, so it wont be a giant clusterF***. :D

And most importantly: Have fun!

I have split the battle field into 16 Zones each 12 foot by 10 foot with an objective in each and the city enters goes into the middle 4

Thanks for the clarification

What is the largest game apocalypse game so far?
If are asking about the games others have played in then I have yet to be able to, but am planning a 5000-7500 apoc. game myself. If you are referring to the max size that is playable then that is up to the gamers who are playing.

Another tip to help keep the game flowing is to have everything as modeled. This will prevent pointless/heated arguments.

I have already said that models have to use the equipment they have, I have also made movement bases for putting troops on so you don't move them individually
