Hello everyone, i have been playing 40k for about a year. I started with a black reach set, then my friend gave me his black reach set, becasue he didnt think he could afford to play the game. After playing with some buddies i decided to get another black reach set, to boost the armies so my friends and i could play some bigger games. After a While this wasnt enough for me. I got obsessed with the game and had to start researching the game. About 3 months after my first box of black reach, i had been on GW shoping cart estimating the cost of a Chaos army.
I went to a local game store and from watching the current 40k league i saw that to play with the league i would need to field a 1500 point army. i had that much with my black reach sets, but i knew that i didnt want to play SM and Orks. Chaos had to much of a influence on me and slaanesh had the most apeal. So after going to the shop playing in some games i found someone who played Chaos who wanted to trade his old school iron warriors for my black reach sets. i took the deal and now currently have 1500 points of Iron warriors.
Alright i found this website by just googling Emperors children questions. I read through a lot of threads and liked what i saw. some of the people that inspired me to post are.
The king of cheese because he is awesome.
ckcrawford becasue he plays Iron Warriors and knows his fluff.
The Boz becasue he is funny.
Im currently buying box sets of Chaos Space Marines and painting them Emperor's Children becasue i like the Slaanseh armies and Noise marines.
Anyways i look forward to posting and talking to you guys.

Hey Traitorus. Welcome to Heresy!
I rekon you should have converted the AoBR Marines to Iron Warriors, (but they are probably the push to fit models, not the multi part ones so I think you made the right move :victory

You'll find a whole host of characters on this site: Stella Cadente (many lolz to be had), and as you said, KingofCheese, theBoz and others too!

Anyways, I hope you like it here! I've only been on Heresy a couple of months and I rekon its really cool! I've made a few friends throught the Roleplaying threads and there is something for everyone (the reason i sighned up is cause www.portmaw.com is being updated!!)

Good choice. That is the way to go. Not only will you have a ton of firepower, but you will have six scoring units that perhaps might throw your enemy off balance with all the threats.
