Hi everyone,thought i would drop a line to introduce myself, my name is Lloyd. have been collecting GW since 98. i have always painted the models and collected them, but, shock horror!!! i never actually played a game! i havent been collecting properly the past ten years now due to all sorts. mainly work, buying a house, getting maried and studying martial arts hahaha. but i am giving myself a new project.. (drum roll) i am starting a whole new mordian iron guard army, however, i am creating a whole new world, characters and back story to go with the army to have its own narrative etc. i have a HQ, Command squad, 3 mortar units, and roughly 3 full squads plus a sentinel. i will upload pics soon and keep you updated on its progression. Why mordian? i just love metal minis and love the older models, just cause haha. im going for a slightly british red coat theme with ww2 style tanks (malcador from forgeworld most definatley) hoever in time i would like to actually battle this army, if any one out there wants to battle with me let me know. well bye for now dudes and dude-ettes take it easy!!!

would love to see the progress of your army, and would suggest posting finished pieces of fluff, the army list and pictures in the army showcase ~!

Thank you, i certainly will, hopefully next weekend. i will try to get some step by step blogs of my army as it builds up. its pay day soon, i shall be browsing the online store hahaha

Evening everyone, wow, great to see so many different nationalities that you all come from! thanks for the replies, yes i will put pics up this weekend, and will do a new post watching my army grow bit by bit. very right about the `failcast` hahaha, the metal minis have that feel to them! have some plans to convert some models in to medics, only simple changes, but hopefully will work nicely.
