Hello all. I have been on the forum for 6 months but have not posted in any amouts, so I thought I introdus myself. I have played warhammer and warhammer 40K for 8 years and manage to collect 4000 pts dwarfs, 3500 pts lizardmen, 7000 pts fantasy chaos and of course my 13000 pts Iron warrior chaos space marine army.

Only the chaos armies are fully painted :oops:

Despite being born in the start of the 80 I have manage to produse 2 kids and expect the third and last with my wife(tyranide player)

I am an ex-miletery, that now work as an fork-lift driver.
I think that abouts cower the most, just have to pardon my english, I am norwegian... (The first on this forum I think :D )

Hey, hows it going? Welcome to the forums. If you haven't already, check out the chaos rumours thread in the 40K section to see what will be done to your iron warriors. (13,000 points! Damn, that's a lot of marines!)

Welcome to the only site on the web thats so full of heretical bastards. You seem to be quite a heretic yourself... !#<))) POINTS!!!!??!?!?!?!?! ( !#<)))= 13,000 seriously, there should be capital numbers, its hard to express feelings with the tiny little numbers next to the giant caps)

Damn thats alot to get in 8 years. I know people who've been collecting for near 20 years and they couldnt manage getting all the models youve got, cant wait to see a pic.

In Standard English it would be, "Are you alright, Tharak?"

I suspect the whole thing stems from:
1 Geordies say 'bairns' instead of children;
2 Geordies say 'gan' instead of go;
3 Geordies say 'yem' instead of home;
4 Geordies don't like the English much, and need someone else to be friends with.

Oh, and until fairly recently, lots of Norwegian people used to come over to Newcastle to do their Christmas shopping (probably something to with exchange rates).

(for all those who don't know, Geordies are people from North-east England who drink, fight, and pretend that they are vikings/that people from Norway can understand them, when they can't. In fact, not even most people from England can understand them.)

I do know one thing about Norwegian, though - perhaps Tharak can confirm this: if you are person whose job it to put new shelves etc into shops when they are redecorated, do not go to Norway with your van, as the locals may not be happy at what is painted on the side. "STORE FITTER" means something very different in Norwegian.

He he he. I had not thought about that one. For those who dont know, fitter is the norwegian word for womens genatelia.

I like the way 2 persons can see the same ting and pull diffrent menings from it.
F.eks: All over norway we have big warning signs that reads "farts dumper", that in norwegian means Speed bumps. And I think I am the only one on heresy that can honestly say I had went to hell and back for a girl(hell is the name for a small shit-hole in norway)

I am norwegian :D before my three kids I had about 1500£ after tax to spend on what I wanted, and with no steady girlfriend for couple of years I had the time to paint alot.

Now I have wife and my kids, loan, almost no money after bills and try hard to get at least 2 hours a week to paint...
