Heres my list: played 6 games at the octoberfest tourney in tolworth with it and got 5 wins, 1 loss (to nidzilla). the only games i have played with them!

btw i wonder whos going to take 2 autarchs to get reserves on a 2+ on turn 2!

I wish i could take my 10 man seer list, but i feel escalation may hurt it took much ( as i run an avatar alonside) + the council seem to struggle kille termies! So this is fully mechanised where everything can move 24" per turn if need be.

HQ

Autarch Karazdae- Eldar Jetbike, Mandiblasters, Laser lance, Fusion gun, Haywire and plasma grenades; 140 points

Elites

8 Fire Dragons – Fusion gun, melta bombs; 128 points
Wave Serpent – Twin-linked scatter lasers, vectored engines, underslung shuriken and spirit stones; 155 points

6 Harlequins– One upgraded to Shadowseer, all have kisses (6), One Fusion Pistol; 172 points

Troops

3 Eldar Jetbikes; 66 points

10 Dire Avengers – Exarch with two avenger catapults and bladestorm; 152 points
Wave Serpent – Twin-linked Shuriken cannons, vectored engines, underslung shuriken and spirit stones; 140 points

Heavy Support

2 Fire prisms – Holo-fields, Spirit stones, underslung shuriken; 170(2); 340 points

1 Falcon – Scatter laser, Holo-fields, Spirits stones, underslung shuriken cannon, Vectored Engines; 205 points

The list looks very good, the only immediate change I would make would be to drop the fusion pistol from the harlequin squad and give the jetbike squad a shuriken cannon.

Unfortunately you seem to have got the worst of both worlds here:
Spikyclub in Reading is a Thursday night.
Tanelorn where I game in London is a Sunday evening.
Unlucky!

FWIW you could try http://www.crossgc.com/ Though when I went I found it to be too small & hot.

Oh & for myself I am taking space marines. Not sure if it will be bikes or Drop pods yet though.

Very worth it indeed! they kill most anything and everyone tries to kill them and fails uterly. 10 shield drones is not to bad a shield. Its sorta tried and tested at Open War 7 (3wins out of 3) so I'm happy to try em:biggrin:
& yet they are incapable of dealing with AV14. Maybe a fusion gun or 2 might be a good idea?
Afterall your 3 railguns are hardly difficult to kill.

@exodite: as i developed the list, i found that the bikes were turbo boosting alot and were being used as cover for the autarch, hence never fired off their shuriken cannon. however i am tempted to drop the pistol for the cannon as when i am forced to play defensive ( against the two nidzillas i played) they can actually do some damage (hopefuly). may proxy them during a practice game and see how it goes!

@dakari: if i am in london during the weekend, where is the tonelorn club btw? cross gc is quite close to me ( live near london bridge) but i have never been.

I rarly lose both in one game! and AV14 is rare and few so im ok (3mono's or LR's is still killable)

I would definitely recommend the cannon on the jetbikes; it just gives you that extra option for the unit. You can use them aggressively like you said, or if the you want to play defensive they still have the ability to affect the game.

The main reason I suggested dropping the fusion pistol is that most of time the harlequins will be fleeting to ensure they are in charge range, which obviously means they aren't firing their pistols.

the pistol was tempting as it could take a wound off an MC or demon prince, etc. then making survivability after the charge easier as they dont attack back. but then again its only bs4 and not guarantee! + they are in the falcon most of the time:grin:

I think CrossGC is on a tuesday evening.

Tanelorn details can be found here:

If you dont drive (I dont) then tubing to Leytonstone & walking is easy enough (I normally get to Leyton stone for 5:30ish)

true about the shear amount of wounds and shield generators in that unit but the unit has proberly the BIGGEST EVER footprints. so will get shot ALOT more than 6 units of 2 crisis suits, also large blasts will effect the larger unit alot more.

and ok what about swoping the ray for some parihas??? then i just hate skyrays so much, and i dont have the codex so didnt now he had other restritions sorry

I'll be there with the Eldar again. Same list as last time as I haven't found any changes I'm happy with. Seems a bit old hat these days without any Vectored engines, but we shall see.

ow and i would swop out ur second hq (non socoring) for 2 seperate fire knifes (scoring), and if you have the points upgrade the skyray as a rail head is far better in evey way, it would be better to downgrade one of the crisis to upgrate the skyray.
Cant help but feel telling some one to make their army illegal isnt helping them

TBH I'll probably be using my podders with a few tweeks.

There's quite a few from Flame On, possibly between 10 and 15, but i'm not entirely sure. Enough anyway!

Dan, looks like we'll see what these whippersnappers have come up with since March. Fancy Game 1 again?

Not after the spanking you gave me last time :scare:

I'd love a game 1 tbh. Get some payback :threaten:

Same old Marines for me.

I've removed the 6xman las/plas (so now I don't have to shower after every game...the filth, it won't come off), but added a Libby with Fury and Fear with Termie Command (read: Ass Spam) instead. So it's no better morally.

I have a Whirlwind in it, if that helps, :(
