Large chunks of the Daemonhunters and Witch Hunters lines have been removed from the website altogether for months. Rumor has it that Grey Knights are due out fairly soon (around January). Check out the news and rumors forum for all the information to be had on the subject.

Alternatively, it might be that GW is discontinuing both armies or combining them into one army.

Interestingly I didnt see much in the way of GK goodness at the UK games day, but I mayhave missed it, or they may be keeping it under wraps as they are releasing DE.

I trawled about 4/5 Sites for UKGD news...and zip, nada, zilch on anything relating to GK, except some comments made in one of the Seminars about how news on them will be forthcoming before Christmas...well apart from the rumour stuff from reliable sources.

If they intend to let us know about the GK before xmas then its pretty certain they will be the new year release, no point showing anything to do with them now as its DE's time, they will promote the DE heavily until xmas to get the big money, then new army for january/feb then come back to DE for another wave some point next year, i think we will see a fair number of "waves" next year rather than codexs

We'd bloody better not. It's bad enough being 'lapped' (aka having a 4E codex updated ahead of a 3E one), being lapped and having a second wave of the lapper is really aggravating.

I wish they brought forth the Grey Knights in January, as I am in a huge need for models, and I have my birth day in the said month ----> More models...

Dont worry boy's and girls, GK will be back sooner rather than later and expect LOTS of new codex's next year! As for there not being much displayed at the uk games day try doing a google search for new GK stuff or images, i've found some interesting stuff out there, and if it's really what is coming out for the GK then hold on to your lug nuts, it's time for an overhaul!!!! i've managed to track down some images of plastic GK terminators so far and the rummer's i'm hearing are that they will be in a codex all to them selves! and not on any ones side but the EMP! :shok:

I believe they said they were not discontinuing any armies anymore like they did with Squats.
i don't recall that myself.

what i do remember is that they said they weren't going to introduce any new armies unless they were going to be a permanent addition to the game.

but my supplier said they cant get the codex they stoped printing GK codex.
the Codex was taken out of print a few months ago (along with the Witch Hunter's book) and is now available as a free download here.

here is what i have found on the google searches
i don't mean to piss on your bonfire, but that photo of 'plastics' is a shot of the resin masters of the current lot of Grey Knights from when they were announced at Games Day so long ago. there was an enormous hoo-ha at the time because people thought they were coming out in plastics, as they didn't understand the model making process. now that GW can utalise 3D printing, there is much less need for resin masters, so if it looks plastic it generally is.

rest assured if (and when) they do release plastic GK they will be different enough to require you to change your whole army if you want it to look up-to-date. it costs a lot to produce a plastic mould and GW wouldn't shoot themselves in the foot by producing a kit that you didn't 'have' to have.

EDIT:

as for the art work, i think you need to do a little more investigation on it. simply scrolling over the pic tell me that the file name attributes it to an artist called St Theo. if you type his name and 'Grey Knights' into google you find his Deviant Art page (link). he's obviously a designer of some skill and talent, but he is clearly only a fan of GW and not in there employ. he is also, unsurprisingly, the artist behind that artwork that was touted by many forumites as being the next front cover of the Codex: GK (page 4) which turned out to be wrong. personally, having looked through his portfolio i would have to say i much prefer his non-GW artwork.

sorry. hopefully after the DE stuff settles down, we'll start to hear more about the GK.

I'm definitely selling all my current GK(T) minis if the new plastics turn out as awesome as has been rumoured, and especially if the scale between the old and new is glaringly noticeable.

If March, all the better to increase the size of my stash.

The new DE have certainly opened my eyes on plastic minis. If this is the quality you can get, and GW has put some serious effort in releasing the new GKs, they'll certainly look amazing.
The old Grey Knights look amazing, so I guess it cant turn to the worse after these amazing new Dark Eldar minis!
