Daemonhunters can be allied with SM, HOWEVER, GK cannot be included in this force, pg 21 of Daemonhunters codex

If the Daemonhunters force is the parent army then you can't include Space Marines as allies if you use Grey Knights, BUT if the Space Marines are the parent force you can include Grey Knights as allies.

as spikey says, if the SM's are the main part of the army, then you can use GK's in the list, just use the restrictions as stated in the DH codex

The ally rules are however missing in the downloadable codex. So some may argue that you can't ally DH forces anymore

There have been a number of questions regarding Demonhunters and Witchhunters and allies for the 2010 40K Ard Boyz Finals.

The Finals will use the printed rules that were used in the first two rounds; you will be able to use allies.

I only wonder that if it was an incomplete codex... why would he have worded the answer like that?
It's rather strange.

Anyways, as always, emails can't be trusted, but this one doesn't seem to give any definite answers so perhaps it was worth posting for you all.
