So I'm considering a new army. Again. I find that I have much better luck sticking to an army if I can form a story around them. I'm a very 'Forge the Narrative' type, honestly. I have come up with a Grand Master for my chapter, as well as some minor details about them. I know the name of the Chapter, and some of the organizational facts, and strangely enough, I already have my BFG fleet built for them.
Now comes the tougher part; the 40k side of things. I've decided I wanted to incorporate pieces of Dark Angels with pieces of GK. Both have strong Terminators, so that will be the focus of the army, but not entirely; Ravenwing have such great movement options, while the GKs get, at least, some jump units, and lots of deep striking.
However, I'd like to get some other opinions/thoughts/suggestions on good ways to mix the two of these together. Either as Allies, or simply as 2 different armies with similar play styles, so I may swap back and forth as one large 'army'.
