Hey Ladies and Gents,
I post a 1500 Ork list on here a while ago, and your help I managed to secure first place at my local gaming store's league, so thank you very much. (It was the first time I placed in a league using Orks.) Now that the league is over, its on to tournaments and the like, most of which happen to be 1750. So, here's the list I've come up with so far.

HQ:
Big Mek w/ KFF and 'Eavy Armor

Warboss w/ Power Klaw, Twin-linked Shoota, 'Eavy Armor and Cybork body

Elites:
13 Lootas in the DakkaWagon (see Heavy Support)

Troops:
7 Nobz
- 3 w/ Cybork Body, 'Eavy Armor, PK and Slugga
- 4 w/ Cybork Body, 'Eavy Armor, Big Choppa and Slugga
- 1 Painboy w/ Waagh! banner
Battlewagon w/ 2 Big Shootas, Deff rolla and RPJ

11 Boys w/ Big Shoota
Nob w/ PK and Bosspole
Trukk

11 Boys w/ Big Shoota
Nob w/ PK and Bosspole
Trukk

11 Boys w/ Big Shoota
Nob w/ PK and Bosspole
Trukk

Deff Dread w/ Skorcha & Extra CCW
Armor Plates

Heavy Support:
DakkaWagon (Battlewagon w/ 4 Big Shootas and Kannon)

Deff Dread w/ Skorcha & extra CCW

Deff Dread w/ Big Shoota & Skorcha

total: 1746

Feel free to make corrections as you see necessary.

As far as tactics, the Mek with KFF is going in the Battlewagon with the Nobz and Warboss, and will be surronded by Trukks and at least one of the Deff Dreads. The other trukks stay out of line of fire as much as possible as they all make their way into the fray. The Dakkawagon stays hidden as best possible and just unloads all guns at whatever target can take it (So far my Lootas Kill count has more transports and Tau tanks than infantry :thank_you:) The Warboss and Nobz go after the heavy stuff on the other guys' side (Termies, Carnifex, Land Raiders, etc) while the other Boyz go after the objects/smaller stuff.

Again, please review and let me know what you think. Your insight has been fantastic so far, and I implore you to work your magic again. Thank you in advance.

looks well enough to me i myself wont touch trukks with someone elses barge pole for something that is like orks riding in paper. it really doesnt seem to stand on paper let alone on the battlefeild. ontop 12 boys cant crunch anything you have to hope for that assualt and if you dont get it you will mostly get wiped out or run.

i like your lootas and dakka wagon pretty smart idea giving your boys armour and plenty of other weapons to help them in there quest to munch through anything on the table lol

as for the dreads i dont see there place in a speedy list i geuss they can draw fire and protect the rear but for me still unnescessary.

...and now, it's time for... ULTRA CRITICAL TOSSY TIME... Now here's your host... TOSSY!!!

Big Mek w/ KFF and 'Eavy Armor
good

Warboss w/ Power Klaw, Twin-linked Shoota, 'Eavy Armor and Cybork body
Remove the shoota, it is unnecessary in a fast list

Elites:
13 Lootas in the DakkaWagon (see Heavy Support)
Love the idea, but it can stop your lootaz from shooting if they are hit badly. Not only will it stop the dakka wagon, but take a whole turn of firing from the lootaz

Troops:
7 Nobz
- 3 w/ Cybork Body, 'Eavy Armor, PK and Slugga
- 4 w/ Cybork Body, 'Eavy Armor, Big Choppa and Slugga
- 1 Painboy w/ Waagh! banner
Battlewagon w/ 2 Big Shootas, Deff rolla and RPJ
good... but big choppas are pointless. they do not deny saves and you can use those point elsewhere. Also every nob should be different to be hyper competitive so you can use the wound allocation trick. If every one is different you can survive combat without taking a single casualty (if you need more information here just ask)

11 Boys w/ Big Shoota
Nob w/ PK and Bosspole
Trukk
good, no big shoota though, they should all be choppa boys and not be shooting anyway

Deff Dread w/ Skorcha & Extra CCW
Armor Plates
Pointless in fast list

Heavy Support:
DakkaWagon (Battlewagon w/ 4 Big Shootas and Kannon)
Good

Deff Dread w/ Skorcha & extra CCW

Ok, so in this list there is a lot of clean up... and I have freed up many many points for you to use.

Remember, if you are going for speed, battlewagons rock. Trukks are (as mentioned above) paper of wheels. So people generally ignore them if you have lots of Wagons around. Then they get smacked due to the boyz smashing into them.

Now I am a fan of gretchin mobs for holding objectives and at a low point count they are great, especially in speed lists.

Anyway, if you want help as to what to put in the points I have opened up, just ask

Tip for the day: Kanz are better than dreds, but neither are good in a trukk/BW speed list

[Edit] I just saw someone elses list because I was going to critique that too... he has done pretty much everything I talked about here (basically here's how to do it better) http://www.heresy-online.net/forums/showthread.php?t=69487
